The first Network for Thai Accessible Tourism was created
Pattaya - 23.08.2019

Pattaya City - Establishing and coordinating a new network for accessible tourism in Thailand.
Our Nutty's Adventures team spent two days at The Redemptorist Foundation for People with Disabilities, or Mahatai Foundation (มูลนิธิพระมหาไถ่เพื่อการพัฒนาคนพิการ), to discuss the many directions in which we can improve tourism in Thailand for everybody, for example, wheelchair users and the blind and partially sighted. Also present was another private sector company, Betimes Solutions, with its very specialised platform for data-driven management.

The conclusion of the discussions, showing our determination to cooperate, was the decision to establish a Thailand accessible tourism network. The big step forward was the agreement that we will provide tour programmes centred on the Easter Seaboard for wheelchair athletes from around the world coming to participate in the "IWAS WORLD GAMES 2020 Nakhon Ratchasima".
IWAS is The International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation. This will be a real challenge for us, and this visit has filled us with great optimism.
